About us:
Anderson Christmas Tree Farm started in 1990 when owner Charlie Anderson, with the help of his kids, planted 2000 Christmas trees. Each year more trees are planted and after ten years we harvest our fist trees, The first trees were sold by the Murphys Cub Scout pack as a fundraiser. In 2009 we opened as a choose and cut christmas tree farm. We now have three generation living and working on the tree farm.
About fifteen years ago we had some really nice logs from a new area that we cleared for christmas trees. They were too nice to cut up into firewood so we decided mill them up instead. The slabs produced were so beautiful we decide make them into furniture and that was the begining of our sawmill and wood shop. You can now find our furniture and live edge slabs in numerous restaurants, businesses and homes in the area.
On 2/3/24 we opened the Anderson Tree Farm on Main, where we showcase furniture, live edge wood slabs and hand crafted items that we produce on the farm. Stop by and see next time you are in Murphys!
Our wood furniture gallery and gift shop is back on Main Street! Conveniently located between some of Murphys finest restaurants, boutiques and wine tasting rooms, you can check out some of our beautiful tables, furniture pieces and home decor. You can even find slabs to fit all of your DIY project needs. We also have a fantastic variety of gift items, most of which are hand crafted by local artists.Charcuterie boards, signs, ornaments, jewelry, books, candles; and apparel, are just some of the goods we have that will make amazing gifts, souvenirs or keepsakes.
