Wedding Venue

The story behind our venue:

When my daughter Ana became engaged to her boyfriend Joe, she asked if they could have their wedding on our farm. Of course the answer was yes. The decision was made to have the Wedding on October 19, 2019. The ceremony was to be held outdoors and the reception was to be in a barn, to be built on the Farm. This began a year long labor of love.

First we found a lovely spot with a great view amongst the christmas trees. We cleared a few christmas trees and planted a lawn. Benches and a stage were made from logs milled on our sawmill. The location for the ceremony was set.

Next was the barn. We found some great plans for a heavy timber 40’ x 60’ horse barn. While we waited for the building permit we milled the lumber and timbers for the barn. We used salvaged redwood logs, making this barn very unique and beautiful, in that it was built almost entirely out of redwood. Construction began on the 3rd of August. With a lot of hard work and help from friends we finished the barn two days before the wedding and it was awesome! See the video at the link below:

The wedding and barn were so beautiful, my wife and I decided that it would be a shame not to share this venue with others. We decided to make the venue available on a limited basis (no more than 12 events a year) Beginning in June 2022. Please contact us if you would like more information or for a tour of the farm.
